Acoustics and Sound Systems

Project Description
The 1882 Paramount Theater, a downtown Goldsboro landmark for more than a century, was destroyed in a fire in 2005. After reconstruction as a modernized and well-equipped facility, the new Paramount re-opened in 2008.
Managed by the City of Goldsboro, the building is the jewel of the community, used by local groups for plays, pageants, musical performances, live radio and numerous other events. Seating capacity is 495 with 347 in the orchestra and 148 in the balcony. The front of the new building was designed in a Victorian style to resemble the original red brick façade.
