Acoustics, Audio/Video and Technology Design

Project Description
The 14,000 sf renovation enclosed an exterior courtyard revitalized the school’s cafeteria and created a central community gathering space. The design incorporates a newly implemented Center for Leadership, offices, labs, community room, classrooms and conference rooms.
The glass walled classroom pictured is a multi-purpose, technology-rich facility. The technical capabilities of the room include cloud-based video conference capabilities, full audio conferencing capabilities, wireless microphone systems, front and rear cameras, I-Pad control, quality stereo playback systems and a four segment LCD display wall. Through this classroom, students at St. Luke’s School routinely interact with classroom sites in Australia, Argentina and elsewhere throughout the world. These world-wide conference calls are accomplished using standard cloud-based software such as Skype, Google Talk and other low, or no cost video applications.
