Project Description
Performing Arts Building currently under construction will provide 78,000 square foot facility in support of the University’s Theatre, Music and Dance Programs. Facility will include a 400-seat Proscenium Theater, 200-seat Black Box Theater, Performance Lab, Scene Shop, Costume Shop, Choral Rehearsal Room, Classrooms, Dressing Rooms, Green Rooms, Grand Lobby and Offices.
400-seat Performing Arts space includes high quality sound reinforcement systems, digital mixing console, surround sound systems, robust cabling, analog/fiber optic tie-line system, front projection presentation system, rear projection cinema projection system, video capture systems and wireless production intercom system. IPTV systems, throughout the facility, campus standard classroom AV systems, flexible sound/video features throughout the Black Box Theater, Recording/Playback Systems in Choral Rehearsal Space.
